The King Seiko is a glorious watch from the 1970s. I picked up this gold watch, (I normally hate gold watches) but it's inscribed on the back indicating it was once a cherished gift to someone to commemorate an anniversary.

I chose blue and white to complement the gold, and used a blue and white porcelain, common in both Chinese and Japanese porcelain for the dial.

I used the flowers design as there were numerous areas on the dial requiring cover-up and I was unwilling to paint the whole dial (though it would have been great if i'd achieved a white porcelain effect on the main dial.
